About

Welcome to Hockeybrief.com!

The goal of this site is to provide you with all the best information possible about the game of hockey while helping you become a better player. Regardless if you are a beginner or an advanced player, you will find our articles to be interesting and informative.

Who am I?

I’m David, the owner, and author of the information posted on hockeybrief.com.

Hockey has been a huge part of my life for about 40 years. As a kid, I played street hockey during the summer and ice hockey in the winter. Like most kids where I grew up in Canada, playing hockey was the most important thing in life at the time.

I quickly determined that I wanted to be a goaltender and got more enjoyment out of stopping goals instead of scoring them.

I played hockey for recreation and played in competitive leagues at the high school, junior, and college levels. I attended several goaltending camps and had the opportunity to coach teams at different levels from beginners to high school players at the top level.

Throughout the years, I absorbed everything about the game of hockey like a sponge. I’m hoping to pass on that knowledge to my readers.

It can be difficult today for many kids to play the game due to a variety of reasons including cost and availability to learn the game.

Luckily, there is an option now for hockey players to learn many aspects of the sport on the internet. It won’t cost you anything to absorb the information on my site like a sponge.

If you have any questions about this site or hockey in general, please send me an email at [email protected]. I will answer you as soon as I can.

Thanks for checking out the site and enjoy!
